Bone broth journal entry...

The foundation for all things cozy, nourishing, essential...bone broth.

My favorite concoction is this sunny colored broth made with very simple ingredients.

We are only a few hours away to sipping patient, it’s worth it.

Lemon Thyme Bone Broth

1 leftover roasted chicken carcass

1 lemon, cut in half

1 bouquet thyme. toss it behind your back like your the bride and the soup is the hungry lone-bridesmaid reaching for future love.

sea salt

20 cloves garlic

Fill your large pot with water, about 3/4 full. Add all ingredients and boil for an hour. Water level going down?

Gooood. Add more water and boil for another 45 min.

taste. need salt?

Add 1 tsp salt or 1 chicken or veggie bouillon.

Boil and stir for another 15 min.

Strain and press all the broth. Every last golden drop.

Let cool. Pour into mason jars and chill. I tried my Tom Sandoval technique in the video...nailed it.

Easy sipping snack! Heat up your mason jar and go!

Or, add orzo for a tasty soup (thx, hubby, for that tip!).

Uses and benefits of bone broth are limitless.

Enjoy the video! Cheers to strong bones and warm tummies. Xo
